Handpan music is created with easy-to-understand guidelines for playing harmonious notes, chord progressions, rhythms, and unique melody patterns. Join Kim West, an internationally trained handpan instructor in the Malte Marten Method, for a fun 2-hour immersive, hands-on experience. Discover the joy of creatively expressing yourself and enjoy playing handpan music together with others. You will learn about the history of the Handpan, how a quality-made Handpan creates its enchanting sounds, and how to easily play beautiful melodies, harmonies, and rhythms. D Kurd10 Handpans will be provided for attendees. You are invited to bring your own D KURD 10 Handpan as well. There is NO CHARGE for this class through the Spokane Public Library.
